Career
He was born in Miracema, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is a brother of Aymoré Moreira and Ayrton Moreira, both of them successful coaches in the Brazilian football. As a football player, he played for Sport Club Brasil, Palestra Itália (nowadays Palmeiras), Flamengo and Botafogo.
Zezé Moreira managed several clubs, like Botafogo, Fluminense, Cruzeiro, Sport Recife and Nacional of Uruguay.
He was also the Brazilian national team manager in 1952, 1954 and 1955.
