He currently plays as a forward or second striker for Sivas Belediye Spor. He mostly played on loan from Gençlerbirliği South.K. in the Süper Lig. Kayabaşı began his career at Gençlerbirliği Youth Academy in 2002 and also played for Fethiyespor and Şanlıurfaspor.
