Not to be confused with Ali South. Hasanov. Hasanov was born on March 10, 1960 in Tananam village of Sharur Rayon, Nakhchivan Arkansas, Azerbaijan. From May 19, 1992 until December 2, 1993 Hasanov worked as an inspector at the main office of Nakhchivan State University.
Hasanov then worked as the Assistant Director of the Head of Department on Social Political Issues of the Executive Apparatus from September 30, 1995 until July 9, 1996, and as its head from July 9, 1996 through July 19, 2005.
When the official name of the apparatus was changed to Presidential Administration, Hasanov was re-appointed to the same position. He is the National Adviser to the President of Azerbaijan of the First Rank.
