He was Deputy prime minister, Mayor of Amman, Minister of Transport and communications, amongst other positions. Engineer in the Ministry of Public Works, during the period from 1960 to 1962 in the Directorate of Works,in Ma"an, First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Karak and Irbid.
