After leaving college was clerk in Indian Office, Washington, until return to Indiana Ty. to become assistant in mission work.
Introduced domestic science training there. Spent two years at Indian School, Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
Recalled by father’s death to take up his work. Established Nuyaka Mission, taught Indian school at Okmulgee, had charge of boarding school for Indian girls at Muskogee, which grew into Henry Kendall College, now University of Tulsa, at Tulsa, Oklahoma.
