Allan Gibofsky received a Bachelor of Science from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York in 1969 and Juris Doctor from Fordham University in 1985. He also holds a Doctor of Medicine from Cornell University. Allan was admitted to the bar in 1986.
From 1979 to 1985 Allan Gibofsky was an assistant professor of medicine at Cornell University Medical College. In 1985 he was appointed as an associate professor of medicine and assistant professor of public health. From 1990 to 1994 Allan served as an associate professor of public health, becoming a professor of medicine and public health in 1994.
