Everyone else was stupid. She knew best. Just ask her.

Mean, manipulative, self-absorbed, cruel.
Killing herself by overdosing on seconal she dumped into a pudding cup. Leaving behind 40 years' of journals in which she unleashed her own ugly, vile thoughts about everyone she ever met. She hated the people who came for Hat Museum tours, thought that fat person shouldn't be allowed to live, and she slept with at least 18 married men (we stopped counting).
Unfortunately, all this information is 100% factual. Plenty of details to support this data, but I'm too tired to write more. I was her brother for 64 years... she burned every bridge to all the people whom she should have been proud of, and to all the people she tried desperately to make proud of her... no matter who she stepped on.
She described herself as the "Empress of Ladd Avenue" and that's pretty much how she viewed her role in this world. Anyone who did not share that view and who failed to genuflect when she entered a room was deemed an enemy.
Physical Characteristics:
Obsessed with her appearance. She kept a daily journal in which she recorded her weight; she purchased a doctor's scale to perform this ritual. After her death we weighed her ashes; she would have been so pleased with the final entry of only 8 ounces.
Quotes from others about the person
"Mean as a snake."
"You cannot believe a word she says. She called herself "Dr. Alyce Cornyn-Selby" for many years, which was completely fraudulent."
"Totally self-obsessed. Cared not a whit for anyone else. Bedded married men for sport."
