She began modeling and performing at a young age, even winning Mission North Island New Zealand at the age of 17. Alyssa moved to Sydney, Australia in 2005 where she began seriously pursuing a career in modeling and acting. In Sydney she began modeling for Sony, Fujitsu & FHM Magazine, and began to branch into television as well appearing in several music videos, commercials, reality television (such as FHM"s Lara Croft Challenge), and recently played the role of Clara on the Australian series Rescue: Special Operations
In May 2009 Alyssa moved to Los Angeles, California where she currently resides.
Since moving to Los Angeles she has been featured in several fashion pageants & runway shows, and played the female lead in a national commercial for Nicoderm CQ.
When she was 4 years old her family moved to Swansea, Wales, Where Alyssa started her schooling. At a young age Alyssa"s first instrument was the violin she then progressed to singing, dancing and acting attending, participating in as many theatre productions as she could.
When Alyssa was 5 years old she got her first role as Young Cossette in Les Miserable"s, and many leads in her school productions. When Alyssa was 11 years old her family moved back New Zealand to a town called Taupo, Alyssa there went on to Intermediate where she continued performing in town Productions dancing, singing and acting her way through every role she was given, she performed in productions such as Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat, Bad Jelly the Witch, Anything Goes, Jesus Christ Superstar, Aotea Spectacular and the Wizard of Ounces
Throughout Alyssa"s School life she also performed in every school production she could manage along with her studies and outside classes, by the time she was 16 Alyssa was studying Piano, Dance and acting outside of school hours.
Alyssa started promotional modeling and created a dance troop called Nitro Girls Dance Troup which took the girls all around New Zealand dancing at different events. Alyssa then Flew to Australia to represent New Zealand in a pageant Mission International where she placed 1stlate 2006.

In her second to last year of high school Alyssa was voted a Student leader of dance and had the honor of choreographing for the next two years running the schools entry into Smoke Free Sage Challenge,( a dance based competition between all of the schools in New Zealand) where she won numerous awards in choreography for the school, she also began teacher Aiding dance to younger classes and taught choreography during lunch breaks to any dancers who needed help. Alyssa"s modeling career began at the age of 17 where she won the prestigious title of Mission North Island New Zealand, from there she moved to Auckland to go to university and study a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts, majoring in dance minors in screen performance and vocals. Alyssa then decided to move to Australia to broaden hear career prospects, she began competing in small modeling competitions and managed to win numerous titles, Mission Fresh Water Beach, Mission Jim beam, Mission Model of the World New Caledonia, Mission Star University Australia, Mission Bikini International Wales, Mission Tourism Queen Wales, Mission Humanity Australia and Mission Supermodel of Asia Australia to name the most recent. Alyssa can currently be seen on Kentucky Fried Chicken hot and Spicey TVC, She Notably won out other contenders to gain her first lead role in star studded Australian Feature Film Calendar Girls set to film in Cairns Queensland, the film boasts to bring unexpected twists and turns to the public viewers.
