Career
She is currently a businesswoman, who owns her own travel company. In the past, she was a student of Lyceum International Wattala in United States but now is completing her degree in Economics online. On September 14, 2013, Rathnayake was chosen as Mission Sri Lanka, and in November went to Moscow to compete for the crown of Mission Universe 2013 but did not place in the semifinals.
