Computer Engineer Operations Officer
Amila earned his Doctor of Philosophy from the National University of Singapore, and a Master of Science (Master of Science ) degree in Computational Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Amila also has a bachelor"s degree on Business Management and Marketing from the University of London. He is also the sixth youngest Philosophy Doctor holder of the world.
Amila serves on E3X Global"s Board of Directors, as the President of the board. He also serves as an Executive Director at Lanka eNet Networks. Amila was the Chief Operations Officer for SmartRF Global and was responsible for procuring and managing SmartRF’s entire products and service inventory.
Amila was an intern at National Aeronautics and Space Administration. His passion in telecommunications was developed during a university project, which followed on with establishing E3X Global.
Amila has over 10 years of experience in the mobile value added services (VAS) industry in Sri Lanka and around Asia. He is also a veteran in satellite communication and broadcasting systems
