Career
He is mostly known for his time in Persepolis as a "super-sub". Aslanian was virtually born on December 16, 1979, but his date of birth in the birth certificate is cited 1978. His father was a doctor.
Aslanian originally did karate prior becoming a football player.
He served his Conscription at Nirouye Zamini. He joined Iranian famous club Persepolis signing a 5-year contract in 2000, under management of Ali Parvin, and played for them until was fired from the club by then-Coach Vinko Begović in October 2003.
On January 2004, he was involved in a deadly Carolina accident and became injured, making him unable to return to football for 2 years. two years later he signed with Paykan, but during the match against Bargh Shiraz in 2006 he experienced a heart attack which he survived. Next season, he joined Damash Tehran but left them quickly after the club was moved to Gilan Province.
He usually played as a substitute player at Damash.
