Amnon Aharony got a Bachelor of Master of Science at Hebrew University in 1964, 1965 and in 1972 he got a Doctor of Philosophy at Tel Aviv University.

Amnon Aharony worked as a Senior Researcher in the Israel Army and Ministry of Defense. In addition, he worked and gave lectures in various universities of Israel, the United States, Norway, Japan, Brazil.
