1896-1898 studied at the College of the Moscow Philharmonic Social under Nemirovich-Danchenko.
Career
1898 began stage career in Tiflis. Staged plays in working distr of Tiflis and for workers of the Baku oilfields. 1908 founded "New Drama” troupe.
From 1915 head, Arm Drama Troupe, Zubalov House of the People. 1920 founded one of the first modern theaters in Karaklis and a touring theater in Yerevan which performed in Arm and other Transcaucasian republics. 1928 State Touring Theater founded from this troupe (named after Kharazyan in 1933).
From 1950 worked in Echmiadzin (theater closed in 1952). From 1955 Artashat Theater named after Kharazyan. Roles: Uriel’ in Gutskov’s Uriel’ Akosta.
King Oedipus in Sophocles’ "Oedipus Rex”. Othello; Corrado in Giacometti’s "The Criminal’s Family”. The Knight in Trahtirshchitsa (The Tavernkeepcr).
Bersenev in Razlotn (Break-Up). Elizbarov in Shirvanzade’s ’’Because of Honor”. Rayevskiy in Ilozhdyonnyyc burey (Spawn of the Storm), after Ostrovsky, et cetera
