Lavrentzos holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from National Kapodistrian University (Athens, Greece). A Master of Science in Physics from the University of Crete (2002). And an Master of Science in Business Mathematics from National Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Lavrentzos has worked as a risk management director at the National Bank of Greece Securities Société Anonyme and at Millennium Bank. He currently teaches Banking Management in the post graduate Program "Mathematics of Production and Capital Markets" at the Athens University of Economics and Business.
