Career
Mr. Ignashchenko was a member (academician) of the Ukrainian Academy of Arts. In 1974, he was awarded with the Shevchenko National Prize for his work on the Lesya Ukrainka monument. In 2010, he became awarded as a People"s Artist of Ukraine.
Anatoly Ignashchenko was born on January 28, 1930 in the village of Zaharivtsi (Khmelnitsky district, Khmelnytsky region).
In 1953 he graduated from the Architecture Department of the Engineering Institute. He was a student of famous architect Joseph Karakis.
