1946-1948 made trips to Czechoslovakia, East Germany and Poland as a geological consultant. 1955 visited Communist China with Soviet geological dcleg for conference on formation of ore deposits. 1956 attended International Geological Congress in Mexico.
Wrote over 200 works. Developed method of studying polished sections of platinum ore in reflected light. Compiled mineralography of ore deposits in Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics.
Advanced several theories of ore deposit formation.
