Education

1917 graduated Kiev Art School. 1924 graduated Higher Art and Technology Studios, Moscow.

Career

1917-1920 chief set designer at Kiev theaters. While postgrad, student, designed stage sets for theaters in Moscow. Since 1924 worked in major theaters in Ukrainia and assisted in productions at Bolshoy and Maly Theaters in Moscow.
