VORONOV, Anatoliy was born in 1911 in St. Petersburg.
1933 graduated Biology Faculty, Moscow University. 1957 completed postgrad, course at Botanical Research Institute, Moscow University.
1937-1941 instructor, 1941-1943 lecturer, Chair of Physical Geography, Molotov Pedagogical Institute. 1946 doctoral candidate, Zoological Institute, USSR Academy of Science. 1931 practical geobotanist, Ural Expedition.
1932 led a team on Altay Expedition. 1933 geobotanist, expedition to Dzhurun Station area, Kazakhstan. 1934 member, expedition to Dubovskaya Station area, Rostov Oblast.
1936-1937 member, expedition to Naurzum National Park, Kustanay Oblast. 1938-1941 member, expedition to Molotov Oblast, Urals. Specialist in biogeog., floristics, phytogeog. and plant ecology.
