Career
In 1977 Anatoly Ivanovich became a monk. Ionafan worked as a teacher of church singing in Leningrad Theological Seminary (1978-1987), at the same time regent of the church choir of Leningrad Theological Seminary and Theological Academy. Since 1987, he served in one of the churches of Kiev. The Vicar of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra (1988-1989).
