Career
Born in Grootschermer, Krul started his career playing in Arizona Alkmaar, AFC "34 and Football Club Utrecht"s youth teams. Krul signed a professional contract with Football Club Utrecht in 2008, but made no appearance all the season. Krul was loaned to Eerste Divisie club South Carolina Telstar for the 2009-2010 season.
He debuted in the 2–2 draw against SBV Excelsior.
He made a total of 19 appearances in the season. Krul returned to Football Club Utrecht in 2010.
He was called in July 2010 for two Union of European Football Associations Europa League matches, against Albanian club KF Tirana, but he remained on the bench. In August 2010, he was loaned to Sparta Rotterdam, where he made a total of 21 appearances.
Foreign the 2011-2012 season, Krul was loaned to Eerste Divisie club AGOVV Apeldoorn.
After a season with the club, Krul was sold to Maltese club Valletta F.C., where he made 4 appearances in the Union of European Football Associations Champions League, two matches against the Andorran club Football Club Lusitanos and the Serbian club FK Partizan. With only a month in the club, Krul was sold to Colombian club Boyacá Chicó. He remained at the club until January 2014 when he was sold to Deportivo Pasto.
Krul received offers from Puerto Rican club Puerto Rico Bayamón and Spanish club Arroyo, but accepted the offer of Groningen, leaving the Colombian team on February 28.
However, Krul accepted a new offer of Puerto Rico Bayamón in June 2014. On 11 February 2014, AFC "34 announced André Krul as the new goalkeeper coach, after Bob Beentjes left the team, however he left the team after sign with Football Club Groningen.
