Career
He started playing in and captained his side at the 2005 Under 19 Rugby World Championship in South Africa. In 2006, he was part of the Falcons squad in the Vodacom Cup competition. In the first half of 2010, he played for UFS Shimlas in the 2010 Varsity Cup and the Free State Cheetahs in the 2010 Vodacom Cup.
He left at the end of the 2012 First Division season, after 29 appearances.
In 2010, he was also called up to the national rugby union team for the 2010 Institutional Review Board Nations Cup, but he was not released by the Free State Cheetahs for this tournament. He was then included in a n team to face a South Africa President"s XV in 2013.
