Career
He oversees the primary care research program for the Institute and for the Maudsley Hospital in London. As a general practitioner in Sutton, Surrey, his main research interest is the management of clinical depression in primary care. He is also chair of the primary care program of the National Institute of Mental Health in the United Kingdom and holds an honorary chair in the Department of General Practice at Monash University.
The program has over than 600 graduates in England and is being extended to the United States., Australia, and New Zealand.
