Andrea de Bartolomeis, was born on November 22, 1958 in Salerno, Italy. He completed medical school and residency in Psychiatry at University of Naples Federico II. He spent 5 years s Fogarty Fellow Postdoc at National Institute of Mental Health Bethesda , MD, USA and was Visiting scientist at NIMH from 1997 to 2001.
