Career
He has been at the top of the radio airplay charts in Denmark, United States, United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Brazil, and France with different projects. Hemmeth has also reached number 1 on the American Billboard dance chart with a remix for Reserve Andreas Hemmeth had his debut in 2000 as DJ Encore, paired with Danish vocalist Engelina, with the song "I See Right Through to You", which was a #1 hit in his native Denmark after gaining popularity as the theme song to the first season of the reality television show Big Brother Denmark.
His debut album, Intuition, was released in 2002.
The album sold more than 350,000 units worldwide, and featured the singles "I See Right Through to You", "Walking in the Sky", "High on Life" and "You"ve Got a Way". In 2003 he co-wrote and co-produced the gold selling club hit "Steppin" Out" released by Laze, which peaked at #1 on the Danish Singles Chart.
He also produced the theme song to the Danish edition of Big Brother Very Important Person, called "There"s Someone Watching", which featured the vocals of Linnéa Handberg Lund. His second album, released through Koch Records, is entitled Unique.
The album, which was released in the United States and Canada in 2007, features the vocals of Swedish singer Johanna Elkesdotter (former Johanna Stedt).
Hemmeth has a university degree from Roskilde University in economics.
