He attended Richmond Green Secondary School in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
His family moved to Canada when he was five. He moved to Newmarket, Ontario in 2011. Andrei currently lives in Ottawa and trains at the Nepean Skating Club
Rogozine started skating when he was six years old.
He began learning at the Forest Hill Skating Club.
Rogozine debuted on the International Skating Union Junior Grand Prix in the 2007-2008 season. He competed in many junior grand prix, and later, senior grand prix, from 2007 through 2015.
At the 2011 World Junior Championships, he placed third in the short program, second in the long, and finished first overall by 3.15 points. He was a co-recipient of an Elvis Stojko bursary, among many other awards.
Rogozine trained at the Richmond Training Centre in Richmond Hill, Ontario until 2014.
He then moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado to train with Tom Zakrajsek. He currently represents the Nepean Skating Club.
He is the 2011 World Junior champion, 2010 JGP Final bronze medalist, and 2013 Canadian national bronze medalist. He was inspired by Alexei Yagudin, the 2002 Olympic champion. Rogozine won his first international medal, gold, in 2010 in Courchevel, France. He won another title in Japan and qualified for the JGP Final where he won the bronze. He was the first Canadian in 33 years to become World Junior men"s champion.
