Emigrated during the Civil War. Settled in Paris. Reporter on Miliukov’s daily Poslednie Novosti. As Bunin’s secretary, accompanied him to Stockholm in 1933 to receive the Nobel Prize for Literature.
Moved to the USA, 1940. Co-editor, 1967, editor, 1973, of the New York daily Novoe Russkoe Slovo (now the oldest Russian newspaper anywhere in the world).
