Gallant played the majority of his professional career in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL), spending three seasons with the Knoxville Ice Bears where he was a member of the 2009 President's Cup championship team, and was individually recognized for his outstanding performance by being selected as the 2008-2009 SPHL Goaltender of the year.
