Andrew was educated at Dauntsey's School, and after gaining a first-class degree in English at Middlesex Polytechnic, completed an Master of Arts in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia in 1991. In 1995 he earned a Doctor of Philisophy in Critical and Creative Writing at Lancaster University.
Andrew Miller developed his career fully as a novelist. Currently, he is the author of seven books. His works were translated into 36 languages.
