Career
Born on 29 January 1944, educated at Trinity College, Bristol and ordained in 1975 his career began with a curacy at Shirehampton after which he was a producer of Religious programmes for the British Broadcasting Corporation. Subsequently Vicar of Street Barnabas with Englishcombe, Bath then Diocesan Communications Officer and finally (before his elevation to the Episcopate) Development and Training Officer, Chamber of East Communications Unit, he died on 21 May 2006.
