Mildenhall, 1874; went to India as a Chaplain on the Bengal Establishment, 1875. Was Chaplain of Calcutta Cathedral, Sialkot, Karachi, Lahore Cathedral, Amritsar, Ferozepore, Multan, Simla.
Archdeacon of Lahore, 1893. Served with the troops in Afghan campaigns, 1878-1880.
