Professor 1931; Doctor of Medicine Science since 1939. Full member, USSR Academy of Medical Science, since 1957. Director, Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, since 1932.
Head, Chair of Hospital Therapy, Pedriatrics Faculty, Pirogov 2nd Moscow Medicine Institute, since 1946. Chief Hematologist, USSR Ministry of Health. Honoured Worker of Science Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic since 1957.
1945-1957 corresponding member, USSR Academy, of Mtd. Science; board member, Moscow Society of Therapeutists, and Chairman of its Hematological Section. Editor, journal “Problemy gematologii i perelivaniya krovi” (Problems of Hematology and Blood Transfusion).
Со-Editor, “Internat Diseases” section, Bolshaya meditsinskaya entsiklopediya“ (Large Medical Encyclopedia), 2nd edition. Since 1958 board member, Internal Society of Hematologists. 1955 attended 5th European Congress of Hematologists, Freiburg, Germany, and a number of other international congresses.
