BASHKIROV, Andrey was born in 1903.
1929 graduated Moscow Chemical and Technology Institute.
1934-1938 at All-Union Research Institute of Gas and Artificial Liquid Fuel and its Novosibirsk Siberian branch. 1939-1947 at Institute of Combustible Minerals, USSR Academy of Science: specialist in catalytic synthesis of hydrocarbons, spirits and amines on a base of carbon monoxide and hydrogen monoxide. Developed industrial method of obtaining higher fatty alcohols by direct oxidation of hydrocarbons.
