Andrey Ivanovich Serzhanin was born on September 9, 1899 in Lyuban, Minsk Oblast, Belarus.

Education

Andrey Ivanovich graduated from the medical faculty of Belarusian State University (1927).

Career

Andrey Ivanovich Serzhanin was a clinic coordinator at the Department of Topographic, Anatomical and Operational Surgery of the Belarusian State Medical University (1930-1932). He was a Surgical Clinic assistant (1932-1936). Assistant professor of the Department of General Surgery of the Voronezh State Medical University named after N. N. Burdenko (1937-1941).

Andrey Ivanovich Serzhanin was a head of the Department of Pediatric Surgery (1947-1950), Head of the Department of Faculty Surgery (1950-1974) of the Voronezh State Medical University named after N. N. Burdenko.

Andrey Ivanovich Serzhanin died on April 13, 1975. He was buried in Voronezh at the Kominternovsky cemetery.
