He is the author of Electroboy: A Memoir of Mania, a chronicle about his experiences with Manic Depression, published by Random House. "Electroboy" not only details his battle with manic depression but also traces his career dealing forgeries of the art of Mark Kostabi. His story was originally bought by Home Box Office and Tobey Maguire considered the lead role.
He is working on a sequel to Electroboy, as well as a self-help book for people with manic depression.
He graduated from Wesleyan University.
