Career
He had previously been the Boston Celtics Pennsylvania announcer from 1980–1997. During tenure with the Celtics, Jick was the Pennsylvania announcer during the National Basketball Association Finals 5 times. (1981, 1984, 1985, 1986, and 1987).
He also holds the dinstinction of being the Celtics" final Pennsylvania announcer at the Boston Garden and the first Celtics" announcer in Fleet Center.
Since 2001, Jick has been the public address announcer for the Boston College Eagles men"s basketball team He was the P.A. announcer during the 2003 National Collegiate Athletic Association Men"s Division I Basketball Tournament for first-round games played in the FleetCenter.
