On August 30, 2015 Anea gave up her title to Theresa Agonia, the new 2016 Mission Rhode Island United States of America. After completing her duties, in September 2015 Anea was appointed Mission Grand Dominican Republic 2015 by Chantel Martinez, National Director of Mission Grand Dominican Republic in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. On October 25, 2015 Anea was crowned Mission Grand International, where she represented the Dominican Republic in Bangkok, Thailand.
She competed with seventy six contestants from different countries and territories of the world, and at the end of the evening she was crowned Mission Grand International 2015 at the hands of its predecessor Daryanne Lees from Cuba.
Reign
After her crowning, Anea was interviewed by Siam Pageant Channel, Nation television 22 Thailand, News Plus Channel and up next, Channel 9 MCOT on Woody Talk television program one of the most famous Variety Talk Show in Thailand. On November 27, 2015 she returned to the United States to attend a family event.
In February, Anea traveled to Myanmar for charity program During her reign, Anea has traveled across Thailand, Myanmar and South Sudan.
Dethroned
On March 24, 2016, the Mission Grand International Organization released a statement on their official Facebook page that Anea Garcia "will step down from her position as Mission Grand International 2015 due to unable to fulfil and follow the contractual agreement with Mission Grand International Organisation." Her first runner-up, Claire Elisabeth Parker, will immediately take over the title of Mission Grand International 2015.
She represented the Dominican Republic at the Mission Grand International 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand and won the first crown for Dominican Republic, but on March 24, 2016, Anea Garcia was dethroned from the title for not being able to fulfill her duties. On July 12, 2015 Anea placed as the 2nd Runner-up Mission United States of America 2015 while Olivia Jordan won the crown. Anea represented Rhode Island at the Mission United States of America pageant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
