Education
Born in Villa Huidobro, Tuninetti received his Licenciado en Letras Modernas (Master of Laws) from the National University of Córdoba in 1986, and his Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy from Washington University in Saint Louis in 1991 and 199 respectively.
Career
Having graduated, he moved to Lebanon Valley College, where he became Associate Professor of Spanish and chair of the Department of Foreign Languages.

He is a member of the Modern Language Association and the Latin American Studies Association, and currently serves as Associate Professor of Spanish at West Virginia University.
