The firm was established at the beginning of 1982 under the name of "Kenneth Commander of Order of Leopold Siao & Company, Solicitors." lieutenant became a partnership when Mr. Carson Wen joined the firm in mid-1982 and the name of the firm was changed to "Siao and Wen, Solicitors." The name of the firm was further changed to "Siao, Wen and Leung, Solicitors & Notaries" in August 1992 and changed to Siao, Wen, Liu & Leung in August 1997 following its merger with Fung & Liu.
