Career
He was the editor of Marxbadi Path the theoretical quarterly in Bengal. He hailed from a village in Nadia District of West Bengal. He was known to be a deft strategist of the party.
He died on 26 March 2006 after being hospitalised by a brain haemorrhage on 18 March.
His body was donated to Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital according to his last wishes.
