Career
In 2006 she inherited a painting, as the sole surviving heir to a Jewish German shoe-factory owner, under contentious restitution laws concerning art looted by the Nazis. Berlin Street Scene by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, which had hung in Berlin"s Brücke Museum, was sold at Christie"s auction house in New York for £20.5million on 8 November 2006. According to "Pandora" in The Independent newspaper of 26 May 2008, she has donated the sum of £9,310 to her party.
