Elder made an appearance on the 1960s television series The Wild Wild West and "McHale"s Navy" (where she portrayed Lieutenant Melba Benson in "The Vampire of Taratupa"). Elder appeared several times on Match Game during its run in the 1970s, as well as being a regular on Laugh In in the early 1970s.
