1889-1890 studied at private art school in Moscow. 1891-1893 studied at Moscow College of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. 1894 studied at Saint St. Petersburg Academy of Arts.
In 1890’s made two study trips to Paris. 1902 visited Paris again and studied under Rodin. After return to Russia sentenced to one year imprisonment for rcvol activities.
1913-1916 taught at Prechistenskiy Workers’ Courses, Moscow. 1916 gave up monumental sculpture for health reasons and specialized in busts, relief landscapes and fable themes. Also taught at Free Art Studios ahd Higher Art Studios.
1914 and 1944 had exhibitions in Moscow. Her best works are in the Tret’yakov Gallery in Moscow and the Russian Museum in Leningrad.
