In 1952, Anna Ivanovna graduated from the agricultural college in the city of Usman, Voronezh Region, and in 1965, in Moscow, she finished Higher Women's Courses in the specialty "Fabric processing with artistic direction".
Anna Ivanovna Lebedeva worked in the garrison house of officers in Arkhangelsk (1965-1968) and in special educational institutions as a teacher (1968-1975). Since 1975, she was a teacher in the Center for the Creative Development of Children and Young People in the Zheleznodorozhny District of Voronezh.
Anna Ivanovna Lebedeva was the founder and the head of the clothing modeling studio "Yunost" which held the number one position in many city and regional competitions, festivals, exhibitions, and won people’s choice award on the All-Russian Festival "Gifted children - the light of spiritual values" (2001). She systematically conducts master classes in modelling and decorating Russian folk costumes on the basis of the studio "Yunost" .
