Lyon, Anne Bozeman was born on February 25, 1860 in Mobile, Alabama, United States. Daughter of Thomas Temple Armstrong and Mary Coffee (Heard) Lyon.

Education

Educated New Orleans Locquet Institute and in Mobile under Professor Amos Towle. Wrote verses for Louisville Courier-Journal and other daily papers before 1890. Since then short stories, articles, history matter, dialect sketches, et cetera, for papers and magazines

Has made special study of colonial history of Alabama and Louisiana Foreign some time conducted “Feminine Fancies,” woman’s department, Saturday Review, Mobile.
