Educated New Orleans Locquet Institute and in Mobile under Professor Amos Towle. Wrote verses for Louisville Courier-Journal and other daily papers before 1890. Since then short stories, articles, history matter, dialect sketches, et cetera, for papers and magazines
Has made special study of colonial history of Alabama and Louisiana Foreign some time conducted “Feminine Fancies,” woman’s department, Saturday Review, Mobile.
Member League American Pen Women (state representative for Alabama, 1917-1919), London Poetry Society.
