Foreign other people of the same name, see Anthony Cox (disambiguation). Cox was raised in Launceston, Australia and is a graduate from the Victorian College of the Arts. He is best known for his work on the short film The Wilding, winning an "Ellie" for Best Editing in a Short Film at the 2012 Australian Screen Editors awards.
In 2014, Cox worked on the remake of the classic children"s series Thunderbirds Are Go with Independent Television Studios.
Glen Oliver of Ain"t lieutenant Cool News described Cox"s editing style as retaining "a sensible and comprehensible velocity". The show received many positive reviews on its initial broadcast on Independent Television. Cox edited the 2015 Australian film Downriver which premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival and followed with an Australian cinema release.
