Career
He was ordained in 1931 and was a curate at Street Mary's Portsea before becoming a chaplain at Shrewsbury School. During the Second World War was a chaplain with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve and was then Vicar of Street Michael’s Aldershot before his ordination to the episcopate. He died on 1 May 1982.
