The appearance of "Histochemistry" volume 3 completes this set (in its 4th edition). Volume 1 covered operative and preparative technology, volume 2, analytical technology and this volume, volume 3 deals with enzyme histochemistry. Professor P. Stoward of Dundee University presents this final volume, containing the same depth of information as the previous volumes. As well as a chapter-by-chapter look at different groups of enzymes there are specific chapters which cover, for example, applications of histochemistry in muscle pathology. It is an internationally authored work with contributors from Northern and Eastern Europe and the USA. The third volume provides the complement of information on histochemistry (enzyme histochemistry being the only omission from volume 2 and now covered as comprehensively as possible).
