In 1873-1875, Anthony Pavlovich studied at the Alexander military school.
Anthony Pavlovich was on military service in artillery, served first in Kiev (1876), then in Saint Petersburg (1885). After retiring in 1900 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, he took up a theater. Anthony Pavlovich was a Director at the Moscow theater of K. Nezlobin. He wrote plays on historical themes: At dawn (1897), Anna Yaroslavna, Queen of France (1901), Knights of the faith (1903), The Call (1910), the victory Procession (1915), and others. Very soon he ran out of money, and the new receipts did not cover his expenses. Anthony Pavlovich was forced to leave Yaroslavl in November. After the failure in Yaroslavl, he worked in cinematography, was a Director of the Yaroslavl film factory, and translated from French and other languages.
After the revolution, Anthony Pavlovich emigrated to Constantinople (now Istanbul), then lived in Rome. From the beginning of the 1920s, he settled in Paris. He taught the history of fine art at the Paris Studio of cinematography (1924). Starred in small roles in movies. Istanbul was a member of the court of honor of the Professional Union of Russian stage and cinematographic figures in France (1927). For the last few years, he lived in Nice, where he died in deep poverty.
