Blackburn Rovers
A product of Everton U21, he joined Blackburn Rovers after a trial. After impressing Michael Appleton, he signed Forrester who has a contract at Ewood Park till 2015. He made his debut in the FA Cup match against Millwall.
He came on as a 75th-minute substitute for Joshua King.
After returning from loan at Bury, Forrester was sidelined between six to nine months because of his injury. After nine months absent, Forrester made his return in the club"s reserve against Derby County"s U21 and scored twice before coming off at half time, which Blackburn Rovers" U21 lost 4-3.
With two appearance in the club"s reserve, Forrester was offered a new contract with the club and signed a one-year contract with the club Bury (loan)
On 18 July 2013, Forrester joined Bury in League Two on loan until 1 January 2014.
Upon joining the club, Forester was given number nine shirt at Bury.
Forrester made his Bury debut in the opening game of the season, where he came on as a substitute for Ashley Grimes in the 60th minutes, in a 2-0 loss against Chesterfield. Three days later, he scored again in the second round of the League Cup, in a 6-3 loss against Norwich City. With six goals in twenty appearance, Forrester"s loan at Bury, however, was extended until July 2014.
Unfortunately, Forrester suffered a knee injury during a match against Fleetwood Town and after a scan, it was announced that Forrester"s loan spell at Bury had came to an education
In March 2015, Forrester was called up by England U19, but did not play due to injury.
