Professor, Kiev, Yur’yev, then Smolensk University. First to draw extensively on Czechoslovakian land inventories (“ubaria”). Wrote a study of agrarian relations in Bohemia from 10th to 14th Centuries.
Criticized hypothesis that foreign colonization played a decisive role in history of Czechoslovakian people.
